New Philosophy of Education for Medical Technologists

An education strategy for medical technologists is very important for the future of laboratory medicine and medical technology. Advanced and complicated medical care in the future will require better teamwork of the medical professionals to increase the efficiency of care. Furthermore, an aging society increases the total cost of medical care, requiring high efficiency in medical and health care to control the total cost. Therefore, we must educate medical technologists to excel as members of the medical professional team in the 21st century, and also to establish their own scientific field.
